Running Models
You can run your model simulation when you've fully defined all of the variables in the model. Once the simulation is running, you can pause it, resume it, and stop it.
Note: If your model contains modules or sectors, you can run those modules or sectors independently, even if the rest of the model isn't completely defined. For more information, see Running Modules and Running Sectors.
To Run a Model

From the Run menu, choose Run, or click in the Run toolbar at the bottom of the window.
The model will begin to run and continue until the end of the simulation, unless you pause or stop it.

Use the commands on the Run menu and the buttons on the Run toolbar to control the run:
- To pause a running model, from the Run menu, choose Pause, or click in the Run toolbar. The simulation will pause at the point where you chose the command or pressed the button.
- To resume a paused model, from the Run menu, choose Resume Run, or click (flashing between that and ) in the Run toolbar. The simulation will begin running at the point where you paused it.
- To stop a running model, from the Run menu, choose Stop, or click in the Run toolbar.
- To restore all devices in the simulation, click the button in the Run toolbar.
- To adjust the speed of the simulation, open the Model Settings Properties Panel by double clicking on a blank portion of the model after the model has finished running (or you've stopped it).
